Country music superstar Blake Shelton teamed with Ryman Hospitality Properties to announce today that Ole Red Las Vegas is expected to open in 2023 at the heart of the Strip, in front of Bally’s Las Vegas. The bar, restaurant and live music venue with four locations in Tennessee, Oklahoma and Florida will expand with a four-story building at the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, part of Bally’s Grand Bazaar Shops outdoor promenade area.

The $30 million project will include a main dining floor and two additional guest floors overlooking a central stage with state-of-the-art video, acoustics and lighting for a concert-quality experience, according to today’s announcement. Guests will also be able to enjoy food, drinks and a separate live music experience on a 4,500-square-foot rooftop space with views of the Strip.

Ole Red Las Vegas will be the company’s biggest venue to date at approximately 27,000 square feet and room for 686 seats. For Shelton, the music is the most important piece of the puzzle.

“I know what it’s like to be a young musician playing bars and small venues, never knowing what to expect,” he said in a statement. “I’m proud that we’re building a network of places where artists can get the kind of exposure playing live that is so critical for growing their fan base. Having these locations for artists to play in different parts of the country is a dream come true.”

Currently on TV judging the 21st season of The Voice on NBC, Shelton last performed in Las Vegas at the ACM Awards at MGM Grand in 2019. He married Gwen Stefani in July in Oklahoma and was a frequent guest at Stefani’s recently concluded residency show at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
