Quick Bites: Halloween at the Sand Dollar, CraftHaus, Searsucker, Mott 32 and more

The Sand Dollar Lounge’s Nightmare on Spring Mountain takeover makes its debut today at 6 p.m., a spooky celebration of All Hallows Eve including Halloween décor, themed cocktails and musical performances and a calendar of special themed nights when costumes are encouraged. First up is Lazy Costume Night on Sunday. Nightmare on Spring Mountain continues through October 31 and the Sand Dollar is open Monday through Saturday from 6 p.m.-4 a.m. and Sunday from 8 p.m.-4 a.m.

é by José Andrés is reopening inside Jaleo at the Cosmopolitan on Thursday and reservations will be available through December 26 on Tock. There will be two seatings per night at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. and six guests allowed per seating, remaining in line with COVID restrictions.

Searsucker at Caesars Palace is set reopen on Thursday. The Hakkasan Group’s social dining concept serving classic Americana dishes with a unique culinary attitude will return to action with beer, cocktail and chicken wing specials during Las Vegas Raiders games as well as happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays from 5-7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 3-6 p.m. Searsucker will be open for dinner Thursdays from 5-9 p.m., Fridays from 5-10 p.m., Saturdays from noon-10 p.m. and Sundays from noon-8 p.m.

CraftHaus in the Arts District is celebrating the grand opening of its new extended patio on Friday by offering a complimentary 4-ounce pour of its beer between 4-6 p.m. The new 1,500-square-foot outdoor space on California Street includes picnic tables and benches seating groups up to six and cheese and charcuterie boards are available from the CraftHaus tap room and Garagiste Wine Room & Merchant

Mott 32 at Palazzo will offer its special Six Hands Tasting Menu for a limited time, from October 17-19. The executive chefs of three of the restaurant’s international destinations—Hong Kong, Las Vegas and Singapore—come together to prepare the special meal virtually to kick off the event. The menu includes a signature dim sum trio, wok-fried black cod with crispy garlic and dried chili, braised beef short ribs, stir-fried pea sprout with preserved pork and more. The price is $98 per person.

Corner Bar Management’s Park on Fremont restaurant and bar and Joy of Hot Dog trailer have reopened on Fremont Street. Park on Fremont has renovated its patio and is offering its Garden Party outdoor brunch and supper club experience in addition to menu items. It’s open Friday from 6 p.m.-2 a.m., Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 a.m. Joy of Hot Dog is open Thursday through Saturday from 8 p.m.-2 a.m., and is also serving new menu items.

Freedom Beat at Downtown Grand has relaunched its Freedom 2 Brunch experience every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The menu includes all-you-can-eat selections for $24.99 and bottomless mimosas or bloody marys for $10. Live music starts at 11 a.m.

Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse at Flamingo has extended its hours. The new restaurant is now open seven days a week from 5-10 p.m. and has added new menus incorporating fall-themed dishes and vegan and vegetarian offerings.
