Quick Bites: Downtown Brew Festival, Sweet Sin, Yonutz and more Vegas food and drink news

The ninth-annual Downtown Brew Festival will return to the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater on October 16. One of the signature events from Las Vegas-based Motley Brews, the event will be back with “cold beer, bomb food and live music,” and tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 8, at 10 a.m. For more info, visit downtownbrewfestival.com.

Stadia Bar made its debut at Caesars Palace over the weekend, a 120-seat sports viewing lounge designed by the Rockwell Group offering hand-crafted cocktails and more adjacent to the Forum Food Hall. The menu features athlete- and celebrity-owned spirits brands including Teremana Tequila by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 7Five Beer by Vegas Golden Knights player Ryan Reaves, Howler Head Banana Bourbon by UFC president Dana White and Cincoro Tequila by basketball legend Michael Jordan, among others. Stadia is open daily from 10 a.m. until midnight.

Also at Caesars Palace, Pronto Wine Bar by Giada De Laurentiis has reopened and is serving daily from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. More than 40 wines by the glass are available, along with signature cocktails.

Acclaimed pastry chef Claude Escamilla has opened his reimagined shop Sweet Sin at the Linq Promenade on the Strip. An enormous chocolate fountain is the centerpiece at the store, located between the Linq Hotel entrance and Chayo Mexican Kitchen, and Sweet Sin offers signature macarons and crepes, 13 flavors of gelato, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, sweet and savory pastries, coffee and more. It’s open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 2 a.m., and Friday through Sunday from 8 a.m. until 3 a.m.

Posh Burger is set to open at Aria on June 11 in the former Burger Lounge space. The new fast-casual concept created by MGM Resorts International will feature a variety of burgers, breakfast and chicken sandwiches plus sides, soft drinks and shakes. It will operate Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 a.m.

Yonutz, a franchise featured as a two-time winner on Dessert Wars, is set to open its first Las Vegas location next month on Centennial Center Boulevard. The 1,500-square-foot doughnut and ice cream shop located just off U.S. 95 and Ann Road will be the first of several planned Southern Nevada locations, serving the Nutella Crunch Smash Donut, the Birthday Cake Smash Milkshake and a variety of imaginative ice cream flavors and mini and large doughnuts.

The Garden lounge and bar is celebrating its first anniversary in the Downtown Arts District with a Pride month Halleloo celebration on June 11 at 7 p.m. RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 winner Symone will host a red carpet event. For tickets and information, visit thegardenlasvegas.com.

Milk Bar at the Cosmopolitan has launched the Build a Pint program where guests can dream up their own layered soft-serve treat. Choose from flavors like Cereal Milk or Strawberry Shortcake and your favorite sauces, cake pieces and toppings. Pints are $15 and can be ordered online for local delivery at Milk Bar’s website.

More cool treats are on the way as Milkcow, the first milk and honey concept ice cream brand from South Korea, is set to open its first Nevada location this summer at Tivoli Village.
