Las Vegas nightlife fixture and Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Diplo will be one of the artists starring in the Official Grad Trip, a newly created experience for high school graduates and their parents consisting of multiple private concerts and events at different locations around Las Vegas set for June 20-24, 2022.

Singer Loren Gray and TikTok sensation Madi Monroe are also scheduled to perform during the four-night event, which will include parties at the Thomas & Mack Center, Wet ‘n’ Wild, Area15, Brooklyn Bowl and other venues to be named later.

The Official Grad Trip was co-founded by Zach Samson and Andrew Citores with longtime Las Vegas event industry professional Daren Libonati serving as producer of the live events. In his most recent position as vice president of festivals and outdoor spaces at MGM Resorts, Libonati built and managed Rock in Rio Las Vegas, the iHeartRadio Daytime Festival and the Day n Vegas hip-hop festival.

“We see a significant gap in the student-parent travel market,” Citores said in a statement. “Las Vegas may seem an unlikely choice for a high school graduation trip, but it is exactly the type of experience high school graduates and their parents are craving.

“Right now, high school grads choose between trips to Disneyland or Walt Disney World, or trips internationally. With the Official Grad Trip, graduates can experience world-class entertainment, hospitality and live event venues, all within a setting of their peers. The bonus for parents is that this is a trip they actually want to go on, too. Plus, we’re helping create fond memories of Las Vegas for a new generation of consumer who will look forward to returning to the destination when they come of age and can then enjoy everything the city has to offer.”

The trip can be booked on a school-by-school basis to ensure graduates from the same school can celebrate together. Once 50 classmates from the same school join the waitlist, all graduates from that school are guaranteed a spot and can reserve space by booking a travel package. Grads can join the waitlist now at officialgradtrip.com.

Diplo has been one of the key resident DJs for Wynn Nightlife since 2012 and is expected to return to XS and Encore Beach Club when those venues reopen at full capacity. He has tour dates scheduled in May in Colorado, Texas, New York and Mexico. Just this week, Wynn has announced the apparent extension of several DJ residencies via social media, retaining the services of the Chainsmokers, Kygo and David Guetta.
