About the drink: Santa’s Step Stool is a play on the Old Fashioned, with the addition of Yellow Chartreuse to give it a fresh, herbaceous flavor. It has a season spin with the addition of fresh rosemary syrup, as the herb of the rosemary plays into the holiday season. It’s a new spin on an old classic.
About the creator: Peter Nesheiwat is the lead bartender at CASBAR Lounge and Tangiers Bar in The SAHARA Las Vegas. Born and raised in Las Vegas, he started his professional career as a carpenter contractor at 16-years-old. After turning 21, he knew he was ready for the Las Vegas Strip! He began as an apprentice bartender at the Cosmopolitan and once SLS, now SAHARA Las Vegas, opened, he was ready to get behind the stick.
He has tended bar and helped with the beverage program at most of the outlets at the property and currently calls SAHARA Las Vegas his home. With a great cocktail selection, SAHARA always switches things up for the seasons.
