The band that shut down the old Joint is taking over the new Joint. Veteran hard-rock foursome Mötley Crüe has announced a 2012 residency at the venue inside the Hard Rock Hotel, signing on to play 12 shows in February.

The dates: February 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18 and 19. Tickets for the show, produced by AEG Live and titled Mötley Crüe in Sin City, are priced from $41-$81 and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through the Hard Rock box office and Ticketmaster.

Specific details about the makeup of the show have yet to be revealed. A press release promised it would “supersede the band’s high standard of production.”

Mötley Crüe’s longtime lineup—vocalist Vince Neil (now a Las Vegas resident), guitarist Mick Mars, bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee—formed the band in 1981 and are best known for 1980s hits like “Looks That Kill,” “Home Sweet Home,” “Girls Girls Girls” and “Dr. Feelgood.” The band’s 2005 greatest hits album, Red, White & Crüe, has been certified platinum in the U.S.

Mötley Crüe played the final show at the original Joint on February 7, 2009.
