2012 AVN Awards: Red Carpet at Hard Rock Hotel

AVN Media Network announced this morning that adult-entertainment stars Jesse Jane and Asa Akira are co-hosting the 2013 AVN Awards at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel on Jan. 19, 2013. The 30th-anniversary awards toasts the biggest night in adult entertainment and is known as “the Oscars of Porn.”

Jesse Jane, a former Hooters manager and a Hawaiian Tropic Pageant winner, rose to global fame as a Digital Playground actress. The blonde bombshell’s resume includes 2005’s “Pirates,” the most expensive adult film ever produced.

“I’m so excited to host the 30th anniversary AVN Awards,” said Jane in a news release. “It’s such an honor to host again. I had a blast last time, and this year will truly be amazing. Thank you, AVN. I can’t wait!”

Jane’s partner in crime Akira said, “I feel so incredibly lucky to have this chance to host the awards show. The AVN Awards is arguably the biggest, most important annual event in our industry. Hosting the 30th anniversary show is an honor I really can’t even describe right now.

“To say I’m feeling excited would be an understatement. I’m hoping to make this one of the best and memorable shows in AVN history! I’m also hoping not to trip onstage.”

After years at Sands Convention Center at the Venetian and the Pearl at the Palms, the AVN Awards and Adult Entertainment Expo moved to the Hard Rock Hotel last year.
