Zac Brown Band, Erykah Badu, Twin Shadow announce Vegas shows; Celine Dion adds summer dates

On the heels of last night’s Grammy win for Best Country Album, the Zac Brown Band announced a new show at the Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea Ballroom on April 27 at 8 p.m.

Tickets to see the country group, who took home the Grammy for their third album Uncaged, will go onsale this Friday, February 15 at 10 a.m. online at the Cosmopolitan’s website and through Ticketmaster. General admission tickets cost $75. The show is all ages.

The Las Vegas Soul Festival will come to UNLV’s Thomas and Mack Center with an expanded two-day lineup April 6 and 7. Erykah Badu will headline the first day, which also features performances by Joe, SWV, Lenny Williams and more. The second day lineup will include Mary Mary, Kindred the Family Soul, Marion Meadows, Dr. Bobby Jones and others.

Tickets are available as individual day passes for $23 to $154 or as two-day VIP festival passes for $158. They are currently on sale through UNLV Tickets.

Coachella band The Purity Ring will make a stop in Las Vegas on April 11 at the Beauty Bar. Ticket information and show details are to be announced.

Synth-pop favorite Twin Shadow will return to the Cosmopolitan the summer with a holiday show at the Boulevard Pool on July 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the show cost $20 and will go onsale March 1 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and the Cosmopolitan box office.

British dance punk quintet Foals will play the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay on April 13 with openers The Neighbourhood, who recently opened for Paul Banks at the same venue in November. Tickets cost $20 and go onsale Thursday, February 14 at 10 a.m. via the House of Blues box office and Ticketmaster.

H.R. of legendary hardcore punk band Bad Brains will play with members of Suicidal Tendencies and Norwood of Fishbone headlining a raucous punk lineup at LVCS on March 8. Tickets range from $12 to $15 and can be purchased through Ticketfly.

Celine Dion has again extended her residency at Caesars Palace with a new set of summer performances at The Colosseum. The headliner added 36 new shows between June 4 and September 1 as she embarks on the third year of her popular Las Vegas residency this month; tickets for those shows will go on sale this Friday, February 15 at 10 a.m.

The news dates are as follows:

June 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30.

July 2, 3, 5, 6.

August 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28, 31.

September 1.

Tickets range from $55 to $250 and can be purchased through The Colosseum box office and website.
