Take comfort in this: Jeff Bridges to perform twice in Las Vegas

Abide.

Fix yourself a Caucasian and fire up the Creedence: The Dude is coming to town.

Okay, maybe not the Dude himself, but the guy behind the Dude. We're talking Jeff Bridges, the man who immortalized sweaters, bowling and rugs that tie rooms together in the Coen Brothers' 1998 classic film, The Big Lebowski. And he's headed to town for two performances, 'cause you know, he's got the whole cowboy thing going.

Bridges, who starred as a country-music singer in 2009's Crazy Heart and sang five songs on the soundtrack, released his own eponymous country album in 2011. It reached No. 10 on Billboard's Country chart.

The shows, scheduled for April 19 at Santa Fe Station's Chrome Showroom and April 20 at Red Rock Resort's Rocks Lounge, are being billed as Bridges' Las Vegas performing debut. They're priced from $39 to $45 and go on sale this Friday, Janauary 11 at 10 a.m.

Oh, and performances are scheduled for 8 p.m., so you should have time to hit In-N-Out Burger on your way home.
