Warhol Out West See Andy Warhol’s “Double Elvis” and nearly 60 other Western-themed works by the pop artist—for free!—at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, this Saturday, Smithsonian magazine’s annual museum day. October 5, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

PollyGrind Film Festival The annual showcase of underground horror and exploitation movies kicks off Wednesday with five world-premiere features, including 13/13/13, the latest from Sharknado studio the Asylum. War Horse You could feel the oxygen being sucked out of the room when Smith Center president/CEO Myron Martin surprised a VIP audience in February with an appearance by Joey, the three-man equestrian puppet at the center of War Horse. Gasps quickly turned to cheers, and now Smith Center theatergoers who have clamored for a non-musical play on the big stage finally get their wish. Blow Out Breast Cancer What if you could get your hair done for a party at the party? At this Breast Cancer Awareness Month event, afternoon hair treatments benefit Smiles for Survivors, as does the evening party and silent auction. It’s multi-tasking for good!
