  • Podcast: The Secret Room

Open the door to The Secret Room podcast and you’ll find a wealth of take-it-to-the-grave stories. In each episode, personable host Ben Hamm interviews regular people about their deepest, darkest secrets. Protected by anonymity, the storytellers share outrageous experiences, about topics including drug addiction, undercover fetish modeling and even, for a special Halloween edition, the accidental haunting of a library. The stories are honest and wrenching. You’ll feel wonder and empathy. And if you’re inspired, you can share a secret for a potential future episode at thesecretroompodcast.com/sharesecret. • Show: Travis Cloer

Arguably no former Strip musical remains as beloved as Jersey Boys, and its long, successful run at Palazzo and Paris planted plenty of talented artists in Las Vegas. The endlessly charismatic Travis Cloer first joined the Broadway cast before shipping out to the desert, and he ended up setting a record as the longest-running actor to play Frankie Valli in the show worldwide. He’s been active this year with livestreams and drive-in shows, along with releasing a new album this month, and you can catch his Broadway and More performance at cozy off-Strip supper club the Vegas Room. November 27, 6:30 p.m., $79, thevegasroom.com. –Brock Radke

  • TV: The Crown

A family with a history this long—37 generations spanning more than 1,200 years—is rife with intrigue, but for Netflix’s purposes, the House of Windsor, established in 1917, is its most fascinating chapter, with Queen Elizabeth II (still reigning after 67 years) at its center. The fourth season of The Crown picks up the storyline in the 1970s through the early ’90s and introduces some of the most fascinating characters in modern British history: Camilla Parker Bowles, Margaret Thatcher, Princess Diana and William and Harry. Not even the gilded palaces and outsize pageantry of this sumptuous show can hold a candle to the human drama that most of us remember unraveling in real time, re-created here for our binge-watching pleasure. Netflix. –Genevie Durano

  • TV: Truth Seekers

Whenever Simon Pegg and Nick Frost team up—as they have in Shawn of the Dead and other films—great comedy results, but also great genre storytelling. Happily, that’s the case with Truth Seekers, a new Frost/Pegg comedy-horror series that’s not only solidly funny, but resoundingly creepy. Over the course of eight tightly plotted episodes, paranormal investigator and broadband installer Gus (Frost) and his assistant Elton (Samson Kayo) chase the unexplainable while helping their boss Dave (Pegg) bump up England’s broadband coverage. • Exercise: Yoga with Adriene

From the opening guitar strums to Adriene Mishler’s signature greeting—“What’s up, party people?”—there’s something comforting that brings us back to her YouTube channel (and our mats) day after day. Since founding the YWA community in 2012, the Austin native has gone on to launch an online subscription service and app named after her mantra, “Find What Feels Good.” But hundreds of free 10- to 45- minute videos still populate her YouTube channel with new ones being added, helping to combat chronic lower and upper back pain, alleviating mood swings and more.
