Holiday nostalgia at the Arts Factory’s Bar + Bistro

Bar + Bistro at the Arts Factory will be screening holiday favorites, like the one above.

Camp 107 Screening Series
Dec. 17, 8:00 p.m., free
Bar + Bistro inside the Arts Factory, 202-6060

Do you have fond memories of childhood holidays spent watching classic Christmas specials on TV? Are you pining away for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the Grinch, Frosty the Snowman and the Island of Misfit Toys? Well, Bar + Bistro at the Arts Factory has the solution for you: As part of its Camp 107 screening series, it’ll be showing a whole range of classic holiday TV specials, including the iconic Rankin-Bass stop-motion-animated shows. As is the custom with Camp 107, the screening will be supplemented with trivia contests, plus drink specials, because reliving those childhood memories may necessitate being slightly intoxicated.

  • Not surprisingly for Pixar, the animation is gorgeous to look at, and it’s solid, pleasurable entertainment for kids.

  • Eilis is a good person who deserves a good life, and even through her occasional inner turmoil, she’s able to achieve it.
