Divergent Like The Hunger Games, Veronica Roth’s novel trilogy is set in a dystopian future and focuses on a teenage female protagonist who challenges society’s rules. Shailene Woodley will play main character Tris Prior in the film version, which opens March 21.

Fifty Shades of Grey The film adaptation of the mega-popular erotic novel by E.L. James (the first in a trilogy) hit a snag when actor Charlie Hunnam backed out of playing sexy, dominant businessman Christian Grey, but with new star Jamie Dornan onboard (alongside Dakota Johnson as naïve, submissive student Anastasia Steele), the movie will be out in February 2015.

If I Stay Chloë Grace Moretz has been cast in the lead role of this adaptation of Gayle Forman’s novel about a teenage girl in a coma following a car accident, struggling between returning to a difficult life or moving on to the next. The movie is set for release next year, and the book already has one sequel.
