The Details

First Night
October 26, 7 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., $75
770 Las Vegas Blvd. North, neonmuseum.org

What could be better than slipping into your finest vintage duds, then sipping cocktails at the Neon Museum while enjoying the instrumental surf-punk sounds of Thee Swank Bastards?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

And for $75, all of this could be yours. As a big thank you to the community for all its support and love, the Neon Museum is hosting “First Night,” a vintage-themed party on the eve of the museum’s official opening.

New lighting illuminates the signs that once announced the old-school casinos, most of which are long gone. See the Moulin Rouge, Stardust, Green Shack signs and other fantastic relics from Las Vegas’ past. The best way to do this might be in a vintage costume (encouraged by museum officials).

Signature “Neontinis” will be served.
