In a collaboration of collaborations, SolSis Gallery and Anthony Ortega’s EQLD Creations Art Studio have moved into Downtown Spaces, opening their first show, Eternal Roots, this week. The exhibit is part of an ongoing series of projects based on the four Earth elements and features collaborative works between SolSis Productions founder Shannon Dorn and Downtown artists.

Dorn, a photographer and former member of the Five Finger Miscount (along with Dray and Iceberg Slick), photographs models in Downtown areas for works that are completed by artists like Ortega, Three Bad Sheep, KD Matheson and Dray. The resulting works combine cartoon, realist painting, street art, photography and graphic design, and reflect the collaboration that is SolSis Productions.

Grand opening celebration with music and performance, October 3, 6-10 p.m. Downtown Spaces, 1800 Industrial Road.
