In the spirit of the Circle Jerks’ 1995 parking lot gig at the Huntridge Theater, the campaign to save the venue will host a mini-fest in that same spot this Saturday to support the theater’s revival.
Local bands Alaska and Haleamano will be among seven bands performing in the parking lot from 6 p.m. until midnight. The event will also feature live art by Deadgirls and Robots and grub supplied by the food trucks Slidin’ Thru, Sauced, Sin City Wings and Kona Ice. A portion of their proceeds will go to the Save the Huntridge Indiegogo campaign.
The parking lot party is free, though attendees are encouraged to make a donation of $10 or more at the onsite donation tent.
