Concert onsales: Warped Tour, Reggae in the Desert, Widespread Panic announce Vegas shows

The weather’s warming up, and festival season is fast approaching.

The Vans Warped Tour comes through Las Vegas again on Friday, June 28 at the Silverton Casino Hotel. The day kicks off at 11 a.m. featuring headliners Hawthorne Heighs, Motion City Soundtrack, Chiodos and more. Tickets start at $24.50 and can be purchased through EventBrite.

Las Vegas’ annual Jazz in the Park concert series returns for a 23rd year with five dates featuring top jazz artists at at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater.

The Las Vegas Academy Jazz Combo will perform on May 11, 18 and 25 with Dee Dee Bridgewater, the Jeff Hamilton Trio and Tom Scott, respectively. Jazz guitarist Earl Klugh plays June 1 and percussionist Pete Escovedo performs June 8.

All shows are free of cost and start at 7 p.m. Picnics, blankets and folding chairs welcome. Food and drinks are also available for purchase on site.

Also at the Clark County Amphitheater this summer is the Reggae in the Desert festival, which expands to two days this year on June 15 and 16. The festival will run from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day. The first day’s lineup includes Luciano, Capleton, The Green, Inner Circle, Daniel Marley, Reggae Angels and Da Soulution; the second day features Steel Pulse, Marcia Griffiths, Wailing Souls, Pure Roots. Tickets go on sale March 15 on TicketFly.

Jam-band favorites Widespread Panic will bring their highly-anticipated 2013 Summer Tour to the Joint at the Hard Rock on Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13. The Dirty Dozen Brass Band will open. Tickets start at $49.50 and go on sale this Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster and the Hard Rock Box Office.

Bauhaus frontman Peter Murphy will reprise his role performing the tunes of his former band with a show entitled “35 Years of Bauhaus” on July 24th at LVCS. Tickets cost $25 for general admission and $75 VIP and can be purchased through Big Mark’s Tickets.

L.A.’s Shiny Toy Guns announced an upcoming show at Beauty Bar on April 4 with openers Oh No Fiasco. Doors are at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $16 and can be purchased through TicketFly.

Also playing Beauty Bar are electro favorites STRFKR, who stop through town on June 13. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased now through Ticketcake.
