The new Chelsea is coming—officially.

The Cosmopolitan has announced that Bruno Mars will open its new concert venue (which replaces the old Chelsea Ballroom) with a pair of shows during New Year’s Eve weekend.

The soulful pop artist will christen the Chelsea’s stage with sets on December 29 and 31 and will continue to appear at the venue for a series of six “exclusive engagements” throughout 2014. More shows are scheduled for February 15 and 16, May 23 and 24 and August 22 and 23.

The anticipated venue will hold 3,000 guests across 50,000 square feet, which includes a vintage lobby bar and private VIP opera boxes. Decorative elements include cast glass chandeliers, remnant brick tiling and a grand staircase. With the Chelsea, Cosmopolitan aims to offer an intimate concert setting for performers who typically play arenas—and as Mars just took his Moonshine Jungle tour to the Mandalay Bay Events Center last month, it seems Cosmo is delivering just that.

Tickets for Mars’ inaugural NYE concerts start at $150, with his other shows starting at $95. Tickets for all engagements go on sale September 27 at 10 a.m. Las Vegas time.
