Concert on-sales: Jeff Bridges, LIB aftershows, alt-rock fests and more

If you’re a fan of ’90s alt-rock, then you’re in luck: Two local radio stations announced winter music festivals this week. So mark your concert calendar and read on for more of this week’s on-sales.

Mix 94.1 announced the Mark & Mercedes’ Not So Silent Night mini-fest at the Joint on Friday, December 5 at 8 p.m. The show features alternative rock band Train, ’90s rockers Better Than Ezra and alt-pop singers Matt Nathanson and Andy Grammer ($40-$150).

Also at the Joint on December 12 at 7 p.m. is X 107.5’s Holiday Havoc, featuring more ’90s alt-rockers: Bush, plus The Airborne Toxic Event, Priory and Meg Myers. ($40-$175). Tickets to both events go on sale Friday, October 17 at 10 a.m. through axs.com

Life Is Beautiful also announced a pair of evening shows at the Fremont Country Club, which will run after the festival ends on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25. Friday’s lineup features Fitz & The Tantrums and Echosmith, and Saturday brings Mayer Hawthorne to the stage with local support by Sabriel. Both shows begin at midnight and are $20. Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased on the Life Is Beautiful website.

Following his sold out June performances, Academy Award-winning actor Jeff Bridges and his band, The Abiders, will return to Red Rock Resort on Friday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. The show is the release party for Live, also recorded at Red Rock. Tickets are $49-$69 and go on sale Friday, October 17 at Ticketmaster.

The Vegas Music Summit, a music industry conference, will return to Downtown Las Vegas November 13-14 with performances by Hot Water Music and The Flatliners, plus industry panels and special events. Conference badges ($99) and showcase wristbands ($25) are on sale now at the Vegas Music Summit website.
