Britney Spears was the first to “Break the Ice” as the Axis theater’s first resident headliner and we’re still waiting for Jennifer Lopez to get “On the Floor” at the Planet Hollywood music venue in January.

And this spring, audiences will be “Dancing on the Ceiling” (okay, not really), as Caesars Entertainment announced today that Lionel Richie will call the space home starting in April.

The former Commodore, who most recently played a local stage at Downtown’s Life Is Beautiful Festival in October 2014, has committed to 20 dates for his “Lionel Richie—All the Hits” run, which will feature his best-known tracks like “All Night Long,” “Hello” and “Stuck on You.”

Tickets for the Grammy-winning artist’s shows run $59-$199 and go on sale this Friday, September 18, at 10 a.m. Members of Ticketmaster, Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment’s Total Rewards loyalty program can purchase their passes during an exclusive pre-sale on September 17 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Richie’s current performance schedule is as follows: April 27 and 30; May 1, 4, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15 and 18; September 21, 24, 25 and 28; October 1, 2, 5, 8, 9 and 12. All shows begin at 8 p.m.
