Stevie Nicks will be the first artist to headline the new Park Theater at Monte Carlo at its opening show on Saturday, December 17. The Pretenders will also perform. Tickets start at $95 and go on sale October 3 at Ticketmaster, parktheaterlv.com and MGM Resorts box offices and concierge desks.

Nicks and Fleetwood Mac have performed in Las Vegas in recent years at MGM Grand Garden Arena. “We have had the opportunity to host a number of Stevie’s previous Las Vegas shows and we know she will give her fans another sensational performance in December,” Richard Sturm, president of entertainment for MGM Resorts, said in a statement.

Additional artist and show announcements at the Park Theater are expected soon. The venue takes the place of Monte Carlo’s former theater, which hosted Blue Man Group and Lance Burton, among other acts, and is situated along the Park, the restaurant-lined walkway between Las Vegas Boulevard and the T-Mobile Arena. Over the next two years, the Monte Carlo resort will be transformed into two hotels, the Sydell Group’s NoMad Hotel and the new luxury hotel Park MGM.

According to today’s concert announcement, the 5,000-seat Park Theater will feature a “first-of-its-kind” 240-foot-wide immersive projection surface with 3D motion graphics and 4K resolution, making it “one of the most technologically advanced venues in the world.” The farthest seat from the stage will be 145 feet away, “offering unparalleled views from anywhere within the theater.”
