Introducing… Babiators

This baby is cooler than you.

It’s never too early to share the wonders of 1980s cinema with the younger generation, and for parents who once dreamed of flying with Maverick and Iceman, there are Babiators ($19.99), the coolest in eyewear for the under-7 set.

Beyond the Weekly

The rubber sunglasses, which come in two sizes and four colors for ages 1-3 and 3+, are just what a pre-schooler needs in a pair of shades. While offering protection from UVA and UVB rays, they say things like, “Someday I’ll wear stilettos” or “Hey, wanna lift on my tricycle? It’s a hybrid.”

And since they’re made for folks that still use their accessories as chew toys, the sunglasses are BPA-, phthalate- and lead paint-free, and are replaceable for up to a year, should your youngster be packing a mean set of baby teeth.
