Wranglers National Finals Rodeo | Thomas & Mack Center | December 9, 2012 | 9:47 p.m.
This was one of those bull rides that was scary at the time but funny on the slow-motion replay. Toward the end of the ride, the bull bucked close to the chutes and rider Clayton Savage of Casper, Wyoming, gave a head butt to one of the rodeo cowboys who was trying to get out of the way. It was a better night for the bulls than the riders. Only two riders stayed on their bulls for the required eight seconds, and Savage’s score of 78.5 for this comical ride ended up being the best of the fourth go-round.
