Need help finding a parking spot for Vegas StrEATS on Saturday? Last week, the City of Las Vegas debuted a free iPhone app that provides a guide to Downtown parking garages, a form for reporting incidents and access to the city’s current news releases. It won’t alert you when a spot opens up on Carson, or tell you the current wait time at Le Thai (hey, a girl can dream), but it will direct you to the Neonopolis garage’s 572 spaces available for $1 per hour! And if you hit a pothole on the way, just report it with the app. And if a kindly stranger under the Fremont Street Experience offers you a winning sports book ticket that all but guarantees a life of luxury, comfort and flying private … well, there’s a different app for that: Twitter.
"I try to make it as easy as possible. Elopements should be really simple, and they can be really beautiful."
"This opened up an opportunity for me to be able to use my craft and help people with their medical conditions."
"People know now they can see great artists in beautiful shows and frankly, that’s the most compelling content."
