This shoot felt unreal. Seeing thousands of gallons of water pour out of bright, colorful, shimmering structures set right up against the desolate desert background made me feel uneasy. “This shouldn’t be here,” I thought. Then the mental fog lifted. “Oh yeah. We’re in Vegas—none of this should be here!” And then my final conclusion, “Yes! All of this should be here!” I finished shooting with a smile on my face, watching local families enjoy this dripping mirage.
