13th Annual Star Trek Convention

Official Star Trek Convention | Rio Hotel & Casino | July 31, 2014

Star Trek fans really know their history. At the 13th annual Official Star Trek Convention I photographed fans dressed as the Edo people from Rubicun III, as seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation’s “Justice” episode. I met Cyrus Bickell, 13, of Colorado, who said he has watched every Star Trek episode in chronological order. Another highlight was watching Roger “the Balloon Wizard” Godin create a model of the USS Enterprise out of balloons. Pretty impressive.
