Hey, app developers, startup owners and budding entrepreneurs! How about some midweek Downtown barhopping?

Sure, Atomic’s cocktails taste great any night of the week, but with the Collision Las Vegas technology conference being sold out, an organic collision of your own might find you saddled up to the bar next to an investor with an attentive ear.

The inaugural event, put on by the same people behind a similar conference held in Dublin since 2010 called The Summit, takes place today and tomorrow at Downtown’s recently renovated Western Hotel, bringing together over 1,000 executives, investors, inventors and media from the tech industry to talk shop. The conference’s 60-plus speakers include WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg, Facebook’s Head of Growth Rob Goldman, journalists from CNNMoney, Forbes, Mashable and the Wall Street Journal, and, big surprise here, Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh—because what would a Las Vegas tech event be without Uncle Tony?

Tonight’s presentations culminate with a cocktail hour and afterparties, so speakers and attendees will likely be crawling their way down Fremont Street—and Collision Las Vegas has made networking with some of the influential techies and investors even easier with a photo directory of select attendees at collisionconf.com/attendees.
