Achilleion formed in May 2010, the one mission of the band is to bring back true rock music to the present masses. Achilleion brings a mix of classic rock, punk, a little metal, reggae, and blues influences to combine not only straight up kick ass rock n roll, but also brings a totally different sound to the audience.
Lead guitarist Caleb Chidester calls upon his heavy Led Zeppelin influenced style of songwriting and guitar playing to the overall style of achilleions sound. Drummer Jimmy Weitz brings down the hammer of the gods with earth shattering rhythm. Bassist Javier Schaffer shakes you to the core with energy, presence, and style. And out front with sonic vocal chords is Mandy Poolo, belting powerful, emotional, and inspirational lyrics to the ears and souls of listeners.
