Photographer Denise Truscello was invited by Peepshow platinum princess Holly Madison to record the Holly-days celebration with her best friends forever from the Planet Hollywood spectacular and her E! Entertainment reality TV series Holly’s World at Buca di Beppo.
Angel Porrino, Laura Croft, Josh Strickland and Sophia Monica joined Holly, and they feasted on calamari, caprese salads and spaghetti marinara all topped off with shots of lemoncello. Holly has been giving back to the community this holiday season, and VegasDeLuxe.com will feature some of her charitable endeavors soon.
*It was one of the most fashionable nights in Hollywood when our Palazzo transformed the Hollywood Style Awards into a luxury resort. L.V. met L.A. when Palazzo bellmen greeted guests as they entered the “relocated” Strip hotel complete with the Azure Luxury Pool lounge, where winner Cory Monteith and Emily Blunt relaxed with friends before the show. The Palazzo Future Style Icon Award was given to Katie Cassidy by presenter Lea Michele, who both said they were looking forward to visiting Las Vegas.
Also in attendance: Selena Gomez, Victoria Justice, Drake Bell, Dave Annable, Odette Yustman, Jessica Lowndes, Mena Suvari and LaLa Vasquez, who said she would ring in the New Year at the Palazzo with Chris Colfer and Jayma Mays.
*Four super-sexy, sultry and splashy suites have opened at Rumor, and the cost of each is less than $500 on weekends. “Las Vegas has always been known for its luxurious suites, but at Rumor, we are always trying to push the envelope. I believe our suites will be talked about long after the guest heads back home. They are sophisticated and sleek, but, more importantly, they are definitely sexy and eccentric,” said Stephen Siegel, founder and COO of The Siegel Group.
Each of the four 1,000-square-feet suites -- The Swinger Mega Suite, the girly-girl Gossip Mega Suite, The Camouflage Mega Suite and The Diva Mega Suite -- is equipped with an “ultra-lounge/party bathroom” featuring a 10-person open shower with two rain showerheads and a U-shaped couch.
“Our bathrooms will definitely be the buzz feature,” Stephen said. “We figured there was no reason for the party to end in the bedroom, so we decided to create the first bathroom party/lounge in Las Vegas. Rumor is all about partying with friends in a laid-back environment. I wanted these custom suites to provide a wild, colorful backdrop for people to hang with their friends.”
Kevin Burke, star of Defending the Caveman at the Excalibur, lent a helping hand volunteering at Catholic Charities’ Phone Home for the Holidays. Playboy Playmate of the Year 2008 and The Girls Next Door star Jayde Nicole was primped and pampered at Michael Boychuck’s Color salon in Caesars Palace. She snapped up holiday packages of Michael’s favorite hair products. Stunning Marley Taylor sings with the sensational sounds of trumpet player David Perrico’s seven-piece band at The Bootlegger on The Strip.
The raves are in for Kevin Spacey’s new movie Casino Jack opening Friday, and the two-time Academy Award-winning actor chats one-on-one about the film, his life in London and the amazing coincidence of returning to Planet Hollywood last week for the Las Vegas premiere.
