“X Burlesque” celebrated 10 years of headliner star status on the Strip last Thursday night; it all started in 2002 at the Aladdin before moving to its current home at the Flamingo, and the packed showroom was witness to a high-energy, 70-minute show that entertains like a series of sexy music videos, except that the gorgeous women are onstage mere feet away.
The audience for the milestone performance included burlesque icon Tempest Storm, BMX bachelor Ricardo Laguna (“The Ricardo Laguna Project”), hypnotist Anthony Cools, former Beach Boys musician Billy Hinsche, Judge Jackie Glass and musician Frankie Stabile, son of “X Burlesque” producer Angela Stabile and guitarist for Slash’s new band the Conspirators.
Thanks to Leila Navidi of the Las Vegas Sun for her super-sexy -- and non-nude -- photo gallery of the 10th anniversary performance.
Check out our “X Burlesque” 10th anniversary coverage, including a history of the topless burlesque, a photo gallery with short bios of the cast and a rundown of the Strip’s topless shows, all penned by Andrea Domanick and shot by Christopher DeVargas of the Las Vegas Sun.
