The 76-year-old is battling Alzheimer’s but still wowed with his hits “Rhinestone Cowboy” and “Wichita Lineman.” He had the audience howling when he remarked about the brain memory disease: “At least I’ve forgotten about Tanya Tucker.”
Talk-show titan Jerry Springer and “Pawn Stars” star Rick Harrison dined at nearby tables in chef Wolfgang Puck’s Spago in Caesars Palace for lunch. Comedians George Lopez and Sinbad followed later also at separate tables.
Actor Kelsey Grammer and his expecting wife Kayte Walsh dined at Wolfgang Puck’s Cucina in Crystals at MGM’s CityCenter after their marriage vows renewal ceremony. Director Ron Howard’s actor brother Clint Howard attended Terry Fator’s headliner ventriloquism show at the Mirage.
And Ryan Labbe of MTV’s “The Pauly D Project” celebrated his 30th birthday with 16 friends at Pure in Caesars Palace and was presented with a three-tier baby blue-and-white cake with argyle stripes by the nightclub’s model staff.
