The gauntlet has been thrown down.
Having just returned from New Orleans' Tales of the Cocktail (the single most amazing week of cocktail events I’m aware of), I must considering the bar permanently raised, no pun intended. Therefore as a judge for SushiSamba’s upcoming Muddle, Shake and Pour mixology competition, I am appealing to Vegas’ best bartenders to BRING IT!
Sponsored by Leblon Cachaça, Muddle, Shake and Pour will pit just twenty mixologists against one another to create the summer’s most creative concoction.
The deets: Each contestant will receive 10 ingredients plus the Lebon. They will have only 15 minutes in which to create the perfect cocktail. The top five cocktails will move on to round two where, with the addition of a new secret ingredient, the process will be repeated and the best cocktail wins!
Beyond mere bragging rights (and those are pretty sweet), the winner receives a $500 SushiSamba dining certificate, an invitation to the SushiSamba 10 year anniversary party, a Leblon gift basket and a write up in the SushiSamba newsletter and Web site. More importantly, the winning cocktail becomes the official Sambatini for the Las Vegas SushiSamba location for the entire month of August.
