I heart New York, but it’s good to be back

What can I say about New York City that isn’t already common knowledge? It’s crowded, expensive, it smells like sewer and it’s the most amazing city on the planet. The humidity on the East coast gives me a moldy feeling but the place still has its merits. The bagels, for example, make up for a lot. The pizza makes up for the rest. This locale is not remotely like Las Vegas, which is OK

The night before the wedding of my friend, a former Las Vegas stripper, I can’t sleep so I sit and write. It’s late, after midnight. The wedding is in her conservative hometown on the East Coast. CineVegas leaves memories of emotional pictures

So I never made it back to work over the weekend. I was too busy taking advantage of the open-bar parties at CineVegas. Every morning from Thursday to Monday I regretted being alive, but my spirits were quickly lifted at happy hour. Well enough to line dance, well enough to lap dance

I’m thinking about getting back to work at the end of this week. CineVegas also begins this week and runs through the weekend so I might actually be busy, which will be a good change from sitting around for two weeks doing absolutely nothing. I’m rendered unconsicous; I wake up on a kid’s waterbed with new boobs

“It’s showtime!” the doctor yelled to the nurses. He walked out of the fluorescently lit room dressed in his water colored scrubs.
