Drink this: True Evel Daredevil Ale

Kelly Knievel brought his dad’s helmet to the bar. It sits next to a 22-ounce bottle of True Evel Daredevil Ale, the new brew from Wisconsin’s Lakefront Brewery and the latest product to represent the Evel Knievel brand. Kelly claims that you need the helmet to drink True Evel, because “you won’t be able to tell when or where you’re going to land.” Kelly spends his time promoting his father’s legacy, and he was introduced to Lakefront Brewery by Harley-Davidson, which teamed with the family for an Evel Knievel museum and traveling tour. The brew itself? Sweet and malty with a kick, and found in the big box liquor stores as well as local bars like Born and Raised on Warm Springs. Be careful though: at 7.2-percent alcohol content and only available 22 ounces at a time, you’d better check yourself before ... well, you know.
