The Studio at the Palms is buzzing with a who’s who list of recording artists, including Nelly, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, Birdman and others all laying down tracks. Celebrity chef and “Hell’s Kitchen” star Gordon Ramsay is really serous about getting to know Las Vegas nightlife now that his Gordon Ramsay Steak has opened at the Paris. Gordon partied at Surrender in Steve Wynn’s Encore and also at Tao in the Venetian, hanging out at a dance floor table. He attended the Snow Patrol concert Saturday at Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Chef Bobby Flay partied at Surrender, as did Phoenix Suns star Grant Hill celebrating his wife Tamia’s birthday. The couple also celebrated at Lavo in the Palazzo. Reggie Bush of the Miami Dolphins attended “Dancing With the Stars: Live in Las Vegas” at the Tropicana on Sunday night. Afterward, castmates led by Joey Fatone and Lacey Schwimmer partied at the Bank in the Bellagio until 3 a.m. today. Castmates led by Tia Carrere and Joey recently attended “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace.
Ten-time Grammy Award winner and House of Blues Las Vegas headliner Carlos Santana dined at Fix in the Bellagio, enjoying macaroni and cheese, the porterhouse special and other family-style items until the restaurant’s closing at midnight. Actress Brittany Snow celebrated her birthday at 1 OAK in the Mirage after dinner at nearby Stack. Also at 1 OAK, actors Robert Iler (“The Sopranos”) and Allstate pitchman Dean Winters (“30 Rock”).
Retired UFC star Randy Couture and his wife had lunch at Republic Kitchen and Bar in Henderson. Oscar winner and Las Vegas resident Nicolas Cage and wife Alice Kim dined in a private room -- steps away from several journalists, including yours truly -- at Rao’s in Caesars Palace on Sunday. NFL free agent Andre Carter watched Blue Man Group in the Venetian and then went to the VIP lounge for a private meet-and-greet with the show’s performers. And actor, singer and model Tyrese Gibson dined at Joe’s Stone Crab in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace.
