It’s only fitting that holidays dedicated to the world’s favorite tequila drink and greasy Mexican snack come with a ridiculously giant taco-eating competition. February 22 is National Margarita Day, and February 24 is National Tortilla Chip Day (apparently, February 23 is for fasting between indulgences). And Pink Taco at the Hard Rock Hotel is celebrating big time all weekend long.

The main event is “the beast of all food face-offs,” the Ultimate Taco Challenge. The $24 Ultimate Taco is always on the menu, but this weekend, you get the beast for free if you can eat it in 30 minutes or less. This is no ordinary free taco. It weighs 3.5 pounds—one entire pound being the meat trio of shredded chicken, steak and carnitas. The 25-inch crispy shell is also stuffed with beans, rice, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. And especially because it’s National Margarita Day, it feels so right that you get a complimentary Sauza Blue margarita to wash it all down. (As you can tell from the photo, the drink is totally dwarfed by the taco. So good luck with that.)

During the fun, ladies are welcome to the same delicious cocktail for only $5, and all guests will enjoy the sounds of DJ Dash, starting at 7 p.m. on Friday and 8 p.m. on Saturday. Start stretching those stomachs, people. And happy holidays.
