Chocolate & Spice Bakery is becoming a popular spot for morning and afternoon noshing, but chef/owner Megan Romano is opening her doors for dinner, too, for at least one night.

The bakery's first pop-up dinner, dubbed "Dinner Social," will take place on Wednesday, June 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. Romano and her team will assemble a family-style meal consisting of pan-seared tilapia with haricot vert salad, shrimp and vegetable fried rice, and mandarin orange teriyaki roasted chicken thigh, with side dishes such as braised kale and Brussels sprouts, roasted trinity potatoes and summer panzanella salad. Dessert—always a favorite—include stone fruit cobbler, mango tapioca, vanilla bean panna cotta, salted caramel brownie parfait and strawberry watermelon push-pops.

"Dinner Social" also will feature a live DJ rounding out the experience at Chocolate & Spice, located at 7293 W. Sahara Ave. #8. Tickets are $40 per person. To reserve your spot or for more information, call 527-7772.
