O Face Doughnuts, the popular doughnut and coffee shop that opened in Downtown's remade John E. Carson hotel building in the spring of 2014, has announced on its Facebook page it will close this month: "We have enjoyed our time in Downtown Las Vegas and being a part of the redevelopment scene. For our loyal friends and family, the team at O Face hopes to see you in the days to come to help celebrate a good run Downtown. Although we are saddened by our closing, we look forward to exploring our options in the New Year."

O Face is one of Downtown Project's small business investments, created and operated by Sonny Ahuja, who ran Bleu Gourmet in the Summerlin area before coming Downtown to open businesses in recent years. Ahuja operates Bin 702 at Container Park. O Face's chef and general manager Crystal Whitford was formerly a pastry chef with the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group and crafted fresh, house-made fillings, preserves and creams for all the shop's doughnuts. O Face has also been known for its Caffe Vita coffee and its maple-bacon doughnut was recognized in Las Vegas Weekly's Best of Vegas in 2014.
