What’s new? More pizza, more burgers. Flour & Barley, the first pizza concept from local operators Block 16 Hospitality, has opened at the Linq with a 1,200-square-foot patio and a menu of individual brick-oven pizzas, Italian-inspired appetizers, pastas, paninis and more. Over at the Palms, the back room and poolside patio of the restaurant formerly known as Heraea has become Back Room Burger, serving specialties such as the Mexicali Blues burger with cotija cheese, chipotle salsa and guacamole, and the Ragin’ Cajun with Tabasco-fried onions, okra and and tomatoes.

Two coming restaurants backed by famous faces announced opening dates, sort of: Daniel Boulud’s DB Brasserie is set to open in the Venetian in May, and Guy Fieri’s Guy’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar should be up and running at the Quad in April.

Buddy V’s at Venetian will begin its weekly brunch offerings on Sunday, March 23. Buddy’s Family Brunch will be served buffet-style every Sunday, with dishes including charcuterie and cheese platters, pasta fagioli, a carving station with maple-glazed ham, Italian sausages, chicken rigatoni, mac and cheese carbonara and Panettone French toast. The price is $32.95 per person.

Hakkasan at MGM Grand has introduced a new Taste of Hakkasan prix-fixe menu featuring three courses highlighting its Cantonese cuisine for $48. The menu, served from 5 to 7 p.m. only, could include the Hakka steamed dim sum platter, mushroom lettuce wrap, crispy silver cod with mamit sauce, spicy prawn with lily bulb and other options.

Touché is set for an April 3 grand opening on top of the new E11even nightclub and dayclub, serving a menu of mostly lightened-up Northern Italian cuisine.

Distill, the new Summerlin bar from the creators of neighborhood spots Remedy’s Tavern and Elixir, has unleashed a new list of lunch specials available every day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The offerings include Monday’s chicken parmesan sandwich ($8.99), Thursday’s hot, open-faced turkey sandwich ($9.99), and Friday’s beer-battered cod filet with Cajun slaw on toasted brioche ($9.99).
