Wolfgang Puck will extend his Las Vegas restaurant group off the Strip this fall with Wolfgang Puck’s Bar & Grill at Downtown Summerlin. The new restaurant at the new shopping and entertainment complex adjacent to the Red Rock Resort will serve lunch and dinner, featuring Puck’s signature salads, sandwiches, seafood, pasta and pizzas. The 200-seat restaurant is being designed by EDG, which completed the redesign of Puck’s Spago at the Forum Shops.

Famed Chicago hot dog stand the Wiener’s Circle will open in Las Vegas this summer with locations near the sports books at Station Casinos’ Red Rock Resort and Santa Fe Station. The 31-year-old landmark will offer its authentic Chicago-style char-grilled dogs and burgers, fresh-cut fries and shakes in addition to special Vegas-only menu items like a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich inside a fried doughnut. The Red Rock spot should open in early June while the Santa Fe location arrives later this summer.

In other Station food news, Palace Station will soon add Little Tony’s, an Italian trattoria and pizzeria by Tony Gemignani, who opened Las Vegas’ first Pizza Rock restaurant Downtown last year and is working on pizza restaurants at Green Valley Ranch Resort as well. Palace Station is also opening a second Charcoal Room steakhouse in June—the original is at Santa Fe Station—and the Sahara Avenue casino also recently completed renovations to the Oyster Bar.

The Cure burger at Distill blends beef with pork, plus fontina cheese, jalapeño jelly, spicy mayo and fried parsnips.
