Desnudo Tacos is back, already, and it’s got wheels. The celebrated yet recently closed taco shop from the creators of Naked City Pizza Shop will be back in business in food truck form starting today. Desnudo’s mobile outfit will be serving corn and mushroom soup and braised goat tacos, among other dishes, November 4 and 5 at Naked City's East-side spot (at Office Bar) at 4608 Paradise Road from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Future Desnudo truck sites will be updated on Facebook.

Chef Alex Stratta is set to open a tapas restaurant at Tivoli Village next month.

Former Mirage and Wynn fine dining chef Alex Stratta is set to take over the Tivoli Village restaurant space formerly occupied by Pizza Lounge next month with Tapas by Alex Stratta. The “fine-casual” concept will feature small plates including daily baked artisan breads, Spanish cheeses and cured meats, fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables and more. Expect sangria and Spanish beers alongside dishes like fried padron peppers, artichoke flatbreads, chorizo albondigas and Valenciana-style saffron rice. The 95-seat restaurant will also offer Sunday brunch and is scheduled to open December 17.

Speaking of Tivoli Village, tickets are on sale for Cheers to Chocolate, the Easter Seals fundraiser set for November 15 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the shopping center. Total Wine is providing more than 40 wines to taste and chocolate dishes created by B Sweet, Popcorn Girl, Edible Arrangements, Pink Box Donuts, Cantina Laredo and other restaurants will also be provided. Tickets are $35 and available at give.eastersealsnevada.org.

Lagasse’s Stadium at Palazzo is teaming with Goose Island Brewing for a five-course beer-pairing dinner on November 14 at 6 p.m. for $55. Dishes will include bacon-crusted swordfish over apple, caramelized onion and beer-braised cabbage with 312 Urban Wheat Ale, and grilled salmon with sweet corn, mushrooms and charred tomato sauce with Goose Island Sofie. For reservations, call 702-607-2665.

From now until November 23, D.vino at Monte Carlo is hosting its Festival of Ravioli, featuring six dishes of “perennial favorites and new seasonal flavors.” The special dishes include sweet corn agnolotti ($18), prosciutto and mushroom ravioli ($19) with ricotta cheese and marsala cream sauce, and chicken pesto ravioli ($19) with mushrooms and mozzarella.
