Mexican makeover: Mercadito will become Libre in early 2016.

Clique Hospitality, the new company from former Light Group partner Andy Masi that operates restaurants Hearthstone and Salute at the Red Rock Resort and will debut Clique Lounge at the Cosmopolitan in the coming weeks, is expanding on its partnership with Station Casinos.

Clique will assume management of Mercadito, the Mexican restaurant that opened at Red Rock last year and will be rebranded as Libre in early 2016, and will also open Italian restaurant Bottiglia and Mexican restaurant Borracha at Green Valley Ranch Resort in the spring.

Mercadito, brought to Las Vegas from Chicago by the Sandoval brothers, was originally planned to expand to GVR from Red Rock. The new Clique-operated restaurants, Bottiglia and Borracha, will assume the GVR spaces previously assigned for Mercadito and Tippling Hall, a bar concept. The restaurant at Red Rock will still serve Mexican food next year when it becomes Libre, under the direction of Clique chef Brian Massie.

Under the partnership, Station will own all three restaurants with Clique serving as creator and manager.
