Couture for Causes will display fashions at a mid-day shopping soiree to benefit Communities in Schools of Nevada on April 28. The event includes tastings, art and live entertainment. What began as a simple gathering to prove that everyone and anyone can be a philanthropist has grown into a must-attend fashion event of the spring season. Couture for Causes was originally designed as an opportunity for friends and colleagues to donate chic designer clothing to be resold at a family event while raising money for a local organization. As the event has grown in popularity, it moves to a new home this year at The Arts Factory Las Vegas.
Trendy couture pieces are now donated from generous Las Vegas residents as well as boutiques and designers. Retailers from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will be on hand including Retrospecs offering eyeglass tuning, STITCHED providing tailoring tips and handing out retail items such as pocket squares and socks, and Beckley offering styling advice on site.
All members of the family are encouraged to attend, as Nannies and Housekeepers will have staff on site to watch the little ones while parents scour for hidden treasures.
The chefs of Wynn Las Vegas will arrange savory signature dishes including smoked pork tacos, burger sliders, mac & cheese bites and much more. There will be no shortage of sweets from Sugar Factory, Jean-Marie Auboine Chocolatier, Simple Elegance custom cakes, and Italian Ice King’s satisfying snow cones. Popped will supply a popcorn stand for all to enjoy throughout the live performances. Enjoy music from HaleAmanO and a performance from the Nevada Ballet Theatre.
