The Henderson Symphony Orchestra celebrates the life and films of Charlie Chaplin, recreating a classic cinematic experience with a performance of the musical score to the Academy Award-winning The Circus, synchronizing the songs and sound effects to each scene, as it plays on the silver screen above. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Little Tramp, as well as the 125th anniversary of Chaplin’s birthday, and in honor of this, Kid Auto Races at Venice, the very first appearance of the iconic character, opens the show.
