This drink is sweet and crisp like freshly picked apples, and simultaneously rich and warming like bourbon on a winter’s day. The vanilla liqueur and lemon juice add further depth and complexity to the flavor, ensuring that this cocktail will be a favorite all year round.
Ingredients
1 ½ oz. Wild Turkey 101 Kentucky Straight Bourbon
¾ oz. Licor 43 (Spanish vanilla liqueur)
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
¾ oz. apple cider
¼ oz. maple syrup (to taste)
Cinnamon-sugar for rim
Dehydrated apple wheel from Dress the Drink for garnish
Method
Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly. Rim a stemmed glass with cinnamon-sugar. Strain the cocktail into the glass and garnish with a dehydrated apple wheel.
