Day of the Dead Celebrate “Life in Death”: with traditional Mexican music, food, art, crafts, poetry, dance and elaborate altars created in memory of those who’ve passed on. November 1 & 2, 5-9 p.m., free, Winchester Cultural Center.

Dead Set Originally aired in Britain, this miniseries about a zombie apocalypse as seen from the perspective of Big Brother contestants is an entertaining mix of media satire and horror, with plenty of gore for zombie fans. All five episodes air October 31, 7:30 p.m., IFC.

Claw struck Florida stone crab is in season and finding its way to Vegas tabletops. The distinctive, oversized claws are harvested from live crabs and flown in from the Gulf Coast from mid-October to mid-May.
