Don’t call it a happy hour. Cosmopolitan bistro Comme Ça’s nightly specials go by the name Hourglass and offer patrons half-price bites from the restaurant’s menu every night from 5-7 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to close. Dishes available for the discount include the signature Comme Ça burger, the roasted beef bone marrow and chilled seafood tower, among others.

Calling all overly pale locals: Newly dubbed the Naked Pool, Artisan’s backyard oasis is now open and boasting a strong lineup of events free to locals seven days a week. With names like Topless Tuesdays and Finger Paint Saturdays, you can guess the pool will emphasize a sexy and secluded alternative to the mega dayclubs, though going totally naked isn’t recommended despite the suggestive name. On the other side of the Boulevard, Rumor’s Gossip Pool is going for a more relaxed vibe. Private cabanas offer an easy escape and nearby hammocks make for a comfy perch with daily parties free to locals Monday-Saturday. Both pools are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Lavo’s getting historic, not with the age of the Roman bathhouses that inspired its décor, but with the golden era of hip-hop. Starting with Rev. Run’s appearance on April 13, the club is launching Old School Wednesdays, inviting big names in classic hip-hop to take over the club for performances promised to induce serious nostalgia. On April 20, the party continues with Black Sheep hosting with DJ Ruckus, and that’s not Lavo’s only new night. Thursdays at the Palazzo club will now be devoted to house music, kicking off on April 21 with Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano. Local residents for the party will include Jordan Stevens, Scott Boy and David Garcia.

For the 11 months of the year that AVN isn’t in town, porn fans need not despair. Every Tuesday at Brando’s Bar and Grill, Karaoke XXX welcomes industry talent, off-camera employees and the people who love them (the talent, not the support staff) for a night of networking, cleavage and out-of-tune caterwauling. The night is cover-free, starts at 10 p.m. and warns, “Yes, there will be some outrageous moments.” What else would you expect?
