This year’s tickets were originally priced from $210 to $360, with proceeds going toward law enforcement, medical supplies and toilets. Now, scalpers are asking up to $1,000 to spend a week with the burners. For Burning Man, it’s a disaster. The weeklong arts festival, held in Northern Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, prides itself on inclusion and demodification. During the fest, participants aren’t even allowed to exchange cash.
