Winter Solstice at Share Nightclub Marking the official start of the winter season, QVegas presents a charitable soiree to benefit AFAN, Aid for AIDS of Nevada. Attendees can sip on complimentary Vivid vodka cocktails from 9 to 10 p.m., while also enjoying performances by Cirque du Soleil artists, cast members from The Lion King and Ivanna Bentley of X Burlesque. Sexy Santa Party at Rockhouse Rockhouse wants you to be merry and buzzed. Anyone wearing a branded Rockhouse Santa hat receives open bars on Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to midnight. The Strip-side venue will also offer additional drink specials and eye candy, as the Rockhouse ladies don some sexy Santa apparel. December 23-24, 9 p.m., $5-$10, no cover before 10 p.m.

Whoville-Themed Christmas Eve Saturday Champagne Brunch at Lavo Wondering what the hell Whoville is? Hint: How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Start your holiday celebration with this Seuss-inspired edition of the Venetian venue’s weekly brunch bash. Photo ops with Santa and beats by DJ Lema complete the festive event. December 24, 2 p.m., free entry, reservations required.

Sharam at Surrender While collaborating with fellow Iranian-American DJ Dubfire as Deep Dish, Sharam garnered several Grammy noms and even scored a win in 2002 for Best Remixed Recording. He has since released his own album of beats and will bring the noise to the Encore nightspot on Saturday. December 24, doors open 10:30 p.m., $40.

Bagel Ball at Beso While some families are rockin’ around the Christmas tree on Saturday night, local Jewish singles will be partying it up! The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada presents its 17th annual alternative-to-Christmas-Eve party at the Crystals ultralounge, with attendees receiving a free cocktail and hors d’oeuvres from 8 to 10 p.m. December 24, 8 p.m., $25-$40.

It’s a Woman’s World Wednesdays A music-focused edition of the Royal House’s recently launched ladies night. Women can sip on complimentary champagne from 6 to 8 p.m., and everyone can enjoy beats by DJ Manny Lennox, as well as live entertainment courtesy of local rockers Most Thieves and Minor Suns. December 28, 7 p.m., free.

Adios 2011 Bash at Ghostbar The top-of-the-Palms nightspot celebrates a year of “stiff drinks and dope music” with the final Snitch industry night party of 2011. Sip on free Don Julio drinks from 10 to 11 p.m., and enjoy sounds supplied by Palms resident DJs M!KEATTACK and Dave Fogg. December 28, 10 p.m., $20, local ladies free.
