Don’t make a New Year’s resolution to eat at Cosmopolitan’s Comme Ca — eat there New Year’s Eve!

Bar+Bistro Hoping to get lucky in 2012? Look no further than B+B, where chef Beni Velázquez has assembled a menu of tapas traditionally considered lucky across the globe, including toasted garlic mustard greens, suckling pig and bacalaitos (salted cod fritters). If you’re not feeling lucky after this meal, there’s no hope. $48 per person or $88 for two; 7 & 9 p.m. seatings.

Carlos’ Kitchen Chef Carlos Fernandez serves surprising cuisine in an unassuming environment: Charlie’s Saloon on Durango. His New Year’s Eve three-courser includes mixed greens with champagne vinaigrette, filet mignon with sautéed prawns and eggnog panna cotta. At Charlie’s Saloon, $20.12.

Comme Ça Couple Comme Ça chef Brian Howard’s culinary stylings with the restaurant’s Strip view and you’ve got the makings of an unparalleled evening. His NYE options include slow-braised beef cheeks; langostine ravioli with thermidor of lobster and smoked bacon; and a dish combining chestnut, foie gras and white truffle. At Cosmopolitan, $125 first seating menu before 8 p.m.; $195 from 8 p.m.-midnight.

Naked City Pizza Shop Chef Chris Palmeri will serve seven courses of piattini (Italian for small plates) for NYE. Highlights of the made-from-scratch menu include zucchini flower fritters with charred tomato sauce, arancini (rice balls) with creamy tomato sauce and potato gnocchi with rustic red wine meat sauce. $45 per person or $60 per person with wine pairings, limited reservations from 5-11:30 p.m.

The Range Steakhouse Probably the most underappreciated Strip steakhouse—both from a food and view standpoint—the Range Steakhouse’s three-course NYE menu includes black truffle foie gras terrine; filet mignon and king crab legs; and a dessert trio. If you ask nicely, they might even serve you their mind-blowing French onion soup. At Harrah’s, $95 per person before 8 p.m., $125 after 8 p.m., reservations every half-hour from 6:30-10 p.m.
